Hanmer Springs Snow Reports

Hanmer Springs is a small friendly club ski field, with groomed trails and a comfortable day lodge. Just 40 minutes away from the Hanmer Springs Alpine Thermal Resort, an enjoyable day skiing can be followed by a relaxing soak in the thermal springs. The ski area is mostly suited to intermediate and advanced level skiers and snowboarders but there is a small learner’s area for beginners. Offering a relaxed atmosphere with its wide open groomed trails, Hanmer is a great place to come to challenge yourself in some top snow conditions. The long poma tow will take you to the top of the mountain where you can absorb the breath-taking scenic views.   Snowboarders are well catered for with both natural and groomed pipe riding.

Accommodation is available in lodges both on and off the mountain and if driving, chains are required to be carried by all vehicles. The poma runs literally dusk till dawn as Hanmer Springs is a club field which means it can run to its own timetable.
